Attended the Harry Styles Brunch with my friend. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff who had all dressed up for the event & the pub was decorated, fab! Food was hot & delicious, drinks were great with plenty of choices. We spoke to the landlady to ask if they do the Brunch on a regular basis. She said this was the first they'd done. We hope she arranges them more often because we had a brilliant time. Well done & thank you to all involved 🌈

Ran out of wine glasses at 7pm on a Saturday night! Then said the kitchen may be closing even though 8 of us there for a dinner booking! Food nice but very late and then had to order pudding before we had dinner…

Booked a table for 6 for lunch online. Easy to book. Great service. Good selection of snacks, meals, specials, desserts and drinks. Had a lovely time with friends.

We were turned away as we hadn't booked, and they had only one person in the kitchen, even though it was 12 and there was no one else there, the lady bar staff was not professional rolling her eyes when we asked why couldn't we order quickly while no one else was there

Oh dear, we were thinking of using our christmas vouchers at this venue, however reading some of the recent reviews we have now changed our minds. Shame because it's fairly local for us.

The Supervisor was excellent and very attentive. The food took over 90 minutes to come and and when it arrived ot was horrible.
Fish and chips was cold, peas were missing. The bread was hard and the fish was inedible it was so hard that my 78 year old dad could not even cut it amd you could pick it up and bang it on the table!! we changed to Scampi after being so bad.
Posh fish and chips was hard and 80% skin
Small mixed grill the steak was inedible and too tough... but took so long to come that it wasn't worth changing
The large mixed grill was ok except only 7 chips and cold when it arrived
When we went to the bar we were ignored by bar staff. Other tables behind us were also having the same issues so this was not isolated

Got there on the way home as it was just off the M6 and we were very hungry. Got told at two minutes to 8pm that the kitchen had closed for the day. No apology or anything. Disappointing.
Was a shame as the pub looked lovely and there were other people dining so it seemed a little odd.

We came for some lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Clean, warm and welcoming environment. There was music, food was perfection and great value. The chap behind the bar was incredible. Wonderful service and very attentive. Highly recommend.

We waited over an hour to be served. Staff seemed indifferent about the delay and had poor communication about the issues leading to the delay. They offered free drinks and desserts but this was not what we wanted, we just wanted to leave as the experience was so poor. When the food did arrived it was cold but because we were so hungry we ate it. Ember Inns the chain have not sufficiently responded to the complaint. Try another pub in Holmes Chapel if you find yourself on a Harry Styles childhood village excursion!

Was told wait time would be 40 minutes, no prob. Food arrived not quite what I ordered but not a problem. Service at the bar wasn't up to speed, very busy and only two staff on at the time. Young lad should probably listen a bigt harder rather than rush order though. Would go again.

Ordered steak & ale pie with mash.
45min wait , no mash so did chips.
Pie pastry was rock hard chips cheap frozen ones no colour .
WKD drink was £5 .
Not busy so 45 min wait was not acceptable

I ordered 2x lattes, 1x chicken burger 1x chicken pita at exactly 14:06. There was no communication on the lead time of the food. After waiting 50 minutes, I went to the bar to ask for our lattes. At a comical 15:06, we got our food. 1 hour for a cold pita wrap & burger.
Annoyingly I tipped via the website, when ordering the food. A tip, which was not deserved.

Only went for drinks, which were rather expensive. Over £12 for 2 pints. Recently renovated, so looks and feels nice inside.

Held our annual Christmas meal here on the 17 December for 36 people. The food was great, good quality and served hot which is no mean feat for so many dinners. The service was very good with no delay between courses. Well done to Trisha and all her staff, we will be back next year.

Jordan was my server whilst drinking here, he was a good host and had great banter very approachable and nothing was a problem and was happy to listen to me and my mates useless nonsense. Would recommend

After a 3hr flight from Portugal and travelling past numerous other pubs we placed order from table for food and drinks' it took 35mins for them to come and say not got 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered latte was just about acceptable but it got worse as after a 1hr 40min wait was told food will be another few minutes 20 mins later food arrived hard roast potatoes and lukewarm meats😞 we have eaten here before and had no problems, manager said we had arrived at a particularly busy time but looking around only one third of tables occupied sorry will not be returning or recommending the red lion 3 very dissatisfied diners😡

Early finishes from work tend to mean a lunch visit to the pub. Staff are always very welcoming and happy behind the bar when serving. Food is fantastic. Highly recommend
